I'm kicked back and relaxing...ha!

My baby is growing so fast. She is almost sitting up now:( She loves to sit up and see what is going on. She puts everything in her mouth now. She is getting a tooth, but I know it still won't break through for a while. We can feel it though. She is just slobbering all the time and will chew on anything she can find. She loves to copy you. She is always trying to do whatever face I do....she is so funny. She laughs all the time and has the cutest laugh. Izzy, have the best personality. You are such a good baby and easy to take anywhere. You are such a cutie. Your daddy and I love you VERY much!

March 1st=4 Months

Wow! Where does the time go?!?! Izzy, you are 4 months old baby girl. You are getting to be such a big girl. You try to sit up all the time. You can roll from your stomach to your back very well. You can get from your back to tummy all though you don't very often because you hate to be on your tummy. You laugh all the time and are always in such a great mood. You are truly the best baby. You bring so much joy to your daddy and my lives. We are so thankful we have you as a daughter. You are on a great schedule now. You nap from 12 or 1 to 4. Then you take another nap around 5:30 or 6 for a hour or so. You go to bed around 9 and sleep until 5:30 or later. You take 4 bottles a day and get 26 ounces in 24 hours. You love to eat. You have just now switched to 3-6 month clothing and size 2 diapers although we are still squeezing size 1's on you until we run out....ha! We go to your 4 month check up on
Friday the 5th for your 4 month shots and Dr. Moore will then tell us what food to start you out on. We are excited to start you on baby food. I'm curious to see what you like and how you react. You weigh around 15lbs now. You have chubby cheeks but other then that everything is small on you. You are long for sure! This was a new dress you wore to church on Sunday. Everyone thought you looked adorable (which they do every Sunday). The whole congregation is too busy watching you in church to pay attention to the preacher. They all think you are just so sweet and too precious.

Izzy, your daddy and I love you so much. We can't wait to see what the next month holds. You change so much daily and I love looking back to see what you were up to and how big you were the previous month.

Poor Baby.....

Here is the patient....she was actually coughing when i took this:(

We use the saline drops often just to help break up all the mucus.

1/4 teaspoon every 6 hours

2 puffs every 4 hours

Izzy has had a cold off and on for the past 3 months she has been with us. It flares up when the weather changes. This past Saturday (Feb 13th) when we woke up I decided to take her to the doctor because she coughed a lot Friday night and it just didn't sound good to me. So at 9 am we were off to see the doctor on call at the Searcy Medical Center. It was Dr. Tucker (who we have never seen before). He checked her out and said that it was just a cold...everything sounded good. I asked about her cough and he re assured me it was just the cold....ugh! So we headed back home. By Sunday night her daddy and I noticed she was weezing pretty bad. I happened to be off of work yesterday for Presidents Day so I made another dr apt just to make sure it wasn't anything worse since I could hear the weezing and her cough was getting worse. Unfortunately, Dr Moore had bad news for us. When he listened to her he got up and told us to hang on a minute.....I knew right then it wasn't good news. He said I think it is RSV but let me test her to be certain. In the meantime he hooked Izzy up to a breathing treatment. He came back in 10 min later and told us the test was positive:( He sent us home with a breathing treatment we do every 4 hours and Mucinex Cold that she takes every 6 hours.

Izzy your cough sounds horrible....it make your daddy and I cringe everytime we hear you. We are so sorry you are so sick. You cough until you choke because that stuff gets stuck in your throat. You haven't had much of an appetite at all. You are just eating about 3-4 ounces every 5-6 hours or so. Your breathing is hard but not getting any worse so far. I use the nose sucker often to try to keep your nose clean. Even though you don't feel well at all you are still smiling at your mommy and daddy and act like nothing is wrong. You are such a perfect baby even when you are sick. Mommy has been home with you today but I think daddy is staying at home with you tomorrow so I know ya'll will have lots of fun. You can't leave the house or be around many people for a week so we are home bound until next week:) I hate seeing you in pain and struggling but I know you will be so much better soon. So sorry you feel so bad. We love you very much!!

3 Months Old

Wow....time flies by way too fast. Izzy you are now 3 1/2 months old. You are such a sweet baby and so fun to be around. You are almost always happy. You are now wearing a size 1 diaper and weigh 14 pounds 8 ounces. You are getting to be such a big girl. You wear some 3-6 month clothes but you still wear 0-3 month pants but I don't figure that will last much longer. You have a pretty good sleep schedule down now. You wake up at 6:30 when I get home and then you will take a morning nap around 10. Then you take an afternoon nap around 1 or 2 and that lasts a few hours. You are ready for bed by 9:30...10 at the latest and usually sleep until at least 5 am. You take 4 bottles.....7 ounces when you wake up, 2 6 ounce bottles during the day and then a 7 ounce bottle before you go to bed. Your daddy and I love you so much and love spending time with you. We are so glad God blessed us with such a beautiful little girl. We love you very much Izzy.

Snow Day

Well this is our second snow storm this winter. The first one was at the first of the month. Izzy went out for the first batch but we didn't get many pics because it was so cold out. Today I took her out just for a little bit so I could get a few pics of her bundled up. She had fun....ha!! It has been so pretty but I'm ready for it to go away. I'm not a fan of cold weather and this makes me want spring to get here even quicker:)

John Deere Green....

Ok...so I have to be one of the luckiest girls around. My sis-n-laws are so very talented. Stacy has made Izzy several of her pillow case dresses and they are all so cute. I love all of them. I could put one on her every day. We woke up last Thursday and decided to head to Wal Mart and to run some other errands so I thought I would put her new dress on her. Oh my did she look cute. Stacy, I apologize because she was very cranky that day and I didn't get many pictures and then Justin put her pjs on before I could get better ones but I promise more are coming soon. Here is a close up of the dress....it has her name under the desing for those of you that can't tell what it says. Drum roll please................here is what she looked like in the outfit......the hair bow matched the dress. I will take one of just the bow and post soon. It was too cute. Everyone can't stopping us asking where we got the dress and bow. They all thought she looked so cute. She also wore some leggies that Aunt Robing bought her and some white fur boots to top it off. She was adorable but I didn't expect anything less of course.

Look at how i'm growing......

Izzy is now 11 weeks old. She changes every day. She is such a happy baby as you can probably tell from the picture below. You are taking 2 or 3 naps a day....usually the afternoon one is long. I just look at you all the time and thank God for you. You are our miracle and we are so happy to be your parents. Relaxing after her bath.

2 Months Old Already!

I can't believe my baby girl is 2 months old......well really on January 1st but better late then never...right? Izzy you have been sleeping 6 to 7 hours straight for a few weeks now...yay! You like to go to bed late and sleep in. You are taking 6 ounces of milk at a time now. You eat every 5 to 6 hours. You had your 2 month shots on January 4th. You had 3 shots and an oral vaccine. You cried a little but not near as bad as daddy and I thought. I think it was a lot harder on us....ha! You weighed 11 1/2 lbs and you were 23 1/2 inches long. What a big girl. Based on 100 2 month old girls you are in the 90's for height and 75th for weight. You are laughing and talking up a storm. You love to sit up and see what is going on. It doesn't take much to make you smile. I love it when you wake up in the morning....you are so sweet and so happy. The only time you cry is if you are hungry or sleepy....best baby ever:)

You are just growing so fast and we are loving every minute of it. You are such a blessing to us and we thank god every day for putting you in our lives. We can't imagine life without you. We love you so much and can't wait to see what you do next.

Izzy had her first Christmas and slept most of the time. She got some GREAT gifts that I know she will love. She is growing so fast....she changes every day. She is smiling all the time now. She is such a happy baby and goes along with whatever. We love you so much Izzy!!
